Florida, or the Sunshine State as it is known has to be one of the world’s top tourist destinations. Families flock to central Florida time and time again to sample its wonderful array of attractions with Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure to name but a few.

As a result, Florida has proved to be a hugely popular location for Brits to buy a Home in the Sun. The rental opportunities in Florida are excellent with no real close season and sunshine all year round. And of course the Disney attractions are open 365 days a year!

Prices rose dramatically  two years ago, followed by a well publicised "crash" but the Florida market has now stabilised. With the Pound currently very strong against the Dollar, a Florida villa represents a lot of “house” for your money.

Be careful when you buy however ,as you must purchase a property in an area zoned for short term rentals, if you intend renting out your home.

Many pre-owned villas are available fully furnished and with rental bookings  already in situe, enabling you to get your mortgage payments off to a flying start.
